About the Documentary
This short documentary features ICT development in Africa with emphasis on how the Rural Internet Kiosk (RIK) is changing the way rural Africa communicates. The Rural Internet Kiosk is 100% solar powered and is connected to the Internet via Satellite using Astra2Connect VSAT technology.

ReplyDeleteAlso wanted to note that we will be using virtualized Ubuntu desktops which addresses power consumption, therefore making the solar solution very viable.

Using a web reader such as AnyDaisy can also increase accessibility not only for seeing impaired, but for those whom written English is not their first language.
