Google Ajaxlib (Ajax Libraries API)

Google launched its Google AJAX Libraries API earlier this month. Its a good idea to take advantage of this especially if you are using Blogger.com . Right now wctang seems to be only other blogger.com user I who mentions Google Ajax Libraries API.
Guess, I can now consider using one of javascript libraries for the next redesign of this blog.

Update: Mis-spelled word "Unkown" in the title of this post, leaving it uncorrected since it will mess up the url of the post.

The IT Man

I spent sometime on Friday evening exploring Hyderabad Central University campus, I spotted this in a corner of the art department's studio.

Apertium: Open source machine translation

If you are interested in Machine Translation(MT) then you should read this great introductory article on Apertium MT system. Well I didn't know that Apertium is the open-source Systran (the engine that powers Babelfish) Did you? .

At the time of writing this post, there are no stable language pair for Indian languages in Apertium, If you are interested in working on one, do send me a shout out.

Kudos to Jimmy O'Regan for writing this one.
